Aw dont worry too much Toad, she may just have been out as its getting warmer in the evenings. Hope you find her soon though, maybe she will have a fat belly of mice and be sleeping it off somewhere snug. Or a boyfriend? ((((hugs)))))

I would go for her maybe locked in a shelter .. it happened twice for each of my cats ! last time was Cloche ( she is deaf ) she was locked in for 3 days and no open window and was in the summer, shelter facing south can u imagine ?
They called her but she was so scared and deaf that they asked me to come over to get her .
When something unusual happened tis often cause the cat did something unusual or peeps did ( like opening a never opened at nite shelter for any reason .. we all break rules )
A cat is basically a wild animal and is one of the tuffest animal you can find say vets . Mine was for 3 days locked in a warm place with no water and guess what ? she didn't even drank more than this when I got her back .They have such a survival instinct .

But she can also look for a mouse and enkoy warmer weather as cats are nite hunters or a lil boyfriend who knows ..

Keep faith Deb and tis only one nite .. nothing to worry about yet .
Good luck xx

As I said before on msn Bennie, she was lost at 10pm at night, everyones shed is locked so highly unlikely she is in a shed, but have checked and she isnt. Have walked through the park at the back cant find her there. All the nieghbors know so will just have to wait and see.

Thanks, I hope so. have been out 6 hours in total today looking for her. Just hope its sunny nights, lots of mice and being out is just far too exciting for her! My other cat Rosie her sister is so upset, its horrid. Just walked around again shouting her, no joy. Will set my alarm and shout her later when very quiet! " years ago on Halloween, I was going Alton Towers and Rosie wouldnt come in, in the morning after she had been out an hour, my friend got really pissed off and said u come withand dont worry or stay here! I went, she has never wandered since. But that was Oct! so fingers crossed.. Have rang everywhere, she is chipped, so if anyone takes her somewhere they can trace her ..

I have a nomadic cat, called Ginger. He owns every house in a row, and ours just round the corner. One Saturday morning the local RSPCA officer knocked on the door, with Ginger in a cat box. Someone had found him and passed him on and he'd not been gone 24hrs!! The officer said it was only the second time in 20yrs that he'd found a microchipped cat and he was very impressed. So don't give up hope Toad. It might take a little while to get her back, but if she's chipped there's a really good chance you'll get her back. And cats do get bored of mice and birds and reappear for proper food. Trust me, a cat's brain is ruled by it's belly.

Got my fingers crossed for you Toad - our cat went missing a couple of years ago - he is a neutered tom and likes to spend his time mousing in the surrounding fields at night. He was missing for nearly two weeks we had just about given up hope that we would get him back when he stagggered down the drive.

So please don't give up hope.

a few weeks ago a neutered female of ours came home, after almost a YEAR AWAY! she did not stay, just called in for a visit and went off again,

'done' cats can still get the urge to hunt if not party, but the commonest cause is something scaring them to run and they getting disorientated and needing time to get back to home,

fingers crossed, if she knows whats good for her she will be back, your cats have a 4* life!
bye

She is fine ta. I dont think she has been locked in anywhere or starved! She was well up for going back on the razz tonight. However, the minkz has a carefew and an azbo. So she can amuse herself indoors for a while! Very Happy
